Updating my Blog- or How to have a Heart Attack without the whole Cholesterol Thing…
Earlier this week I decided that it would be a great idea to move over from the free WordPress hosted blog and to a hosted one. The cool tools I could share with my readers (well, my kids read it!) were just too much to pass up for a geek-wannabe.
Getting it setup was a snap. Until it was time to personalize it with those cool tools I mentioned above. Three days later, I’ve pulled out so much hair I look like a survivor of Chernobyl. My kids tell me the stuttering and drooling thing isn’t anything new however. This from the gang that tells me if I do develop Alzheimers they won’t be able to tell the difference.
I decided to update now in this blog’s infancy. When nobody would notice the difference. This was so that when the blog became so well read that the New York Times starts plagerizing from me.
One of the cool tools I’m hoping will work out is Praized. This tool is part of a network that promises that any location I mention in a post, and then tag to Praized, becomes part of their database of buzzed about places. I’m looking to incorporate these tags into Google Maps so readers can check these out by visually looking at the map.
